Overall story development: weak

Plots: rather disconnected throughout

Rosamund Pike: stunning!

Clash of the Titans was a really good movie and I enjoyed it very much.  I went on to watch this firm with high expectation and I finished this movie with dissapointment.  It is a very weak sequal but I shouldn't be surprised anyway.  I can understand that Perseus has a child and his wife was dead.  I can see his passion and very protective of his child in the movie.  

I don't find the Fellowship of the Spear of Triam and the journey to find the Spear of Triam that exciting.  It was dragging.  That big guy with a single eye was also very weak.

However, I don't seem to understand why Zeus had to go all the way to the undergroudn to be captured by his other "half god half son" - Ares.  I don't understand why Ares and Hades wanted to revive Kronos (by draining Zeus' power).  Possibly Ares was jealous of Perseus because Zeus loves Perseus more? The entire movie, Ares overpowers Perseus but Ares was then killed simply because he was distrated by Perseus' son waving a sword!?

It was also funny to see Hades and Zeus teamed up together at the end to fight their "father".  This shows a very un-ethical dark side of the Greek God society, bad example for children.  Then, why did Hades set up to trap Zeus to begin with??!!  

Unfortunately, it is a movie with so many plots that are disconnected and weak.  A poor sequal, and a waste of time! I give 4 out of 10 to the stunning Queen played by Miss R. Pike!
